NOTE: Your routine must demonstrate a strong blend of techniques with balance and originality. The Turntablist Technical Battle is designed to showcase elite DJ craftsmanship, emphasizing precision, creativity, and musicality. This is not a party-style battle—it is a technical competition focused on advanced DJ skills.
ONLINE PRELIMINARY ROUND
SUBMIT A 3-MINUTE ROUTINE - MUST FOLLOW strong blend of techniques with balance and originality.

TWO DJS WILL BATTLE IT OUT IN A HIGH-OCTANE, LIVE-PERFORMANCE
SHOWDOWN-EACH BRINGING THEIR BEST MIXES, BEATS, AND PARTY-ROCKING
ENERGY TO THE STAGE ONLY USING VINYL & MICOPHONE. ONE WILL EMERGE
VICTORIOUS.

THIS BATTLE IS ANALOG ONLY. WE WILL PROVIDE TURNTABLES & MIXER

ALL DJS MUST COME PREPARED WITH THE FOLLOWING:
VINYL (12 IN OR 7 IN)
NEEDLES & REPLACEMENT NEEDLES
SLIPMATS AND HEADPHONES.
ALL COMPETITIVE GEAR MUST BE READY AND FUNCTIONING DAY-OF COMPETITION.
Blend Battle
Summit by email to ORLANDODJSUMMIT@GMAIL.COM 2-3 mins blends. Give us at least 2 blends.
2 DJ'S will go head to head live at the Orlando's DJ Summit 2026.
Submission Deadline: June 1st 2026
What’s NOT Allowed
Pre-made mixes or edits doing all the work
Pressing play and letting tracks ride too long
Ghost mixing (not actually controlling the mix)
Using someone else’s routine without originality
Time Limits Qualifiers / submissions: 3–5 minutes
Technical Requirements:
These battles are analog and digital friendly besides SELECTOR BATTLE . All DJs must come prepared with the following:
All mixer drivers installed and updated.
Computers charged to at least 60%.
Replacement needles (if using analog turntables).
Phase users must be fully charged and calibrated.
Slipmats and headphones.
USB thumb drives with battle files (if needed).
All competitive gear must be ready and functioning day-of competition.
